Summer, 2004
Shalom!
God is awesome- winter, spring, summer and fall!!! Each season
brings new and exciting adventures!!! This summer has been no
exception!!!
WHAT’S NEW
The door opened for me to minister, for the first time, in a
men’s prison on July 14th. With only 3 days notice, the Lord paved
the path leading to an incredible time of ministry and worship at
Allen Correctional in Lima, Ohio. And what a path He paved!! The
enemy threw in more roadblocks than I could imagine, so much so,
that it became hilarious! The details are too many to list, but
believe me; it was equivalent to Lucille Ball meets the Keystone
Cops!!! If anything, it was a great chance to laugh in the face of
the enemy, and what a pleasure that was. And the results…a room full
of men who were hungry for the Lord, eager to worship him, and
willing to soften their hearts to the Lord!!! Never would I have
imagined this, or believed it could happen. Thank God my thoughts
are NOT His!!! My next journey is
to the land of SIBERIA!!
(Wonder if that has anything to do with my prison ministry?) I will
be traveling with Kol Simcha, Messianic singing group, and taking
part in a music festival and outreach in the Siberian city of
Krasnoyarsk, leaving on August 18th and returning Sept. 1.
In addition to singing for 4 nights, a few of us, along with our
teenage daughters, will be ministering in orphanages, spending time
with the children using music and movement. Please keep us in
your prayers for this very challenging ministry trip. The journey is
long, the opposition always rises, and we desperately need the
support and prayers of our spiritual family!! We appreciate you!!!
If you feel led to financially support this Siberian ministry trip,
your donations will ease the costs of travel and purchase of
supplies for the children in the orphanages. Our daughters are each
splitting the cost of the supplies needed to bring music and fun to
these kids. Your donations, as always, are tax deductible. Checks
should be payable to “Kol Simcha” You may send donations to:

PLEASE CONSIDER…
Financially supporting the prison outreach so it may continue, and
grow. There are many expenses involved for each prison visit. The
prisons cannot give a love offering; so all support must come from
other sources such as concerts in congregations or from private
donations. Would you prayerfully consider making a donation so
that this ministry can continue? You can use the donate button below
for secure internet transaction via PayPal. You may also send a
check or money order to me at:
